As part of its celebration of Pacific Standard Time, LA><ART has restaged the Artists’ Tower of Protest, which was erected in 1966 as a symbol of collective dissent against the Vietnam War.

The tower, located at Sunset Boulevard and Hilldale Avenue, was originally designed by sculptor Mark di Suvero. The 2012 installment was organized by LA><ART, the Getty Research Institute and the city of West Hollywood’s Art on the Outside program.
