Investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division are asking for the public’s help in solving a series of liquor store robberies that have occurred in the Wilshire Center and Hollywood areas.
On March 14 at 11:25 p.m., three male African-American suspects robbed an employee at a liquor store in the 4600 block of Beverly Boulevard.
Two of the suspects wore ski masks, while the third suspect did not cover his face.
One suspect was armed with a stainless steel revolver, and pointed the handgun at the liquor store clerk and demanded money.
The suspects then jumped over the counter and removed money from a cash register before fleeing.
The suspects, who were captured on surveillance camera video, drove away in a dark colored, mid-size sedan with a sunroof.
The same suspects are also believed to be responsible for additional robberies that occurred in March, and have exhausted all leads in the cases, and are now seeking help from the public.
Anyone with information is asked to call Olympic Division robbery detectives at (213)382-9460 or (213)382-9463.
