Councilmember Paul Krekorian stood with members of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Tuesday to announce a $50,000 reward for information that will lead to the arrest of the individual responsible for the Jan. 1 killing of Carlos Munoz.
At approximately 11 p.m., LAPD North Hollywood Division patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 6200 block of Babcock Avenue in the Valley Glen area. The responding officers found five men, including Munoz, on the street and inside a house suffering from gunshot wounds.
Munoz later died from his injuries. The shooting appears to be gang-related. No description of the suspect was available.
