The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an 18-year-old Los Angeles resident who has been missing since Feb. 24.
The missing individual, Ilya Martynov, was last seen by his family around 4 p.m. in the 3200 block of Oakhurst Street in the West Los Angeles area.
He reportedly told his mother that he was going to the bank and never returned home.
Martynov has not been in contact with his family or friends, and has not attended school or work, which is out of character for him, according to police.
Martynov is Caucasian, of Russian descent, and has blonde hair and grey eyes. He is approximately six-feet-one-inches tall and weighs 175 pounds, has a small birthmark on his right hand and another birthmark on left cheek.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black shoes, and is also known to frequent the areas around Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Santa Monica City College.
