Actor David Arquette and the unidentified driver of another vehicle were injured in a car accident that occurred on March 4 on Doheny Drive on the Beverly Hills/West Hollywood border.
Arquette was reportedly driving northbound in the 700 block of Doheny Drive between Sunset and Santa Monica Boulevards around 2:20 p.m. when he drove around a vehicle that stopped suddenly in the roadway. Arquette, 39, allegedly crossed into oncoming traffic and struck another motorist head-on, according to Lt. Tony Lee, with the Beverly Hills Police Department, which investigated the collision. Arquette and the other driver were taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where both were treated for minor to moderate injuries and later released.
The investigation has determined that alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the collision, but officials determined Arquette was at fault because he crossed into oncoming traffic. No charges will be filed, according to police.
