Four armed suspects committed a takeover-style robbery at a Radio Shack in West Hollywood on Feb. 8, and stole personal property from the employees and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. at the store at 1128 N. La Brea Ave. The suspects had fled when deputies arrived, and the two employees at the store were not injured. The four suspects, described as African American men approximately 18 and 24 years old, entered the store with handguns drawn and ordered the employees into a back room, according to Lt. Lawrence Del Mese, with the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station. The suspects stole wallets and cellular phones from the employees before taking the cash from the registers.
Del Mese said it was not known in which direction the suspects fled, and added that no getaway vehicle was observed. No further description was available of the suspects.
