Officials in Hollywood are seeking information about a homicide that occurred on Jan. 31 near the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Normandie Avenue.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., 22 year-old Ernesto Villagomez was walking ion the area when an unknown suspect walked up to the victim and shot him.  The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. The motive for the shooting is believed to be gang-related, and police are seeking information about the suspect’s description and any other information that may lead to an arrest.
