A driver who fatally struck a Los Angeles resident as she exited her car on Dec. 2 is being sought by investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division.
At approximately 9:17 p.m., 60-year-old Razia Shariff parked her Honda CRV on the west side of Centinela Avenue just north of Nebraska Avenue, and was exiting the vehicle when she was struck by an unidentified car traveling southbound on Centinela Avenue. The driver of the vehicle immediately fled the scene without rendering aid, as required by law. Shariff suffered extensive blunt force trauma injuries. Paramedics rushed her to a local hospital, where she died.
