The drivers of three vehicles that struck a 32-year-old resident on 3rd Street in the Westlake District on Nov. 30 are being sought by investigators with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic Division.
The victim, Los Angeles resident Felix Gonzalez, was crossing 3rd Street in a crosswalk located at the intersection with Carondelet Street around 8:35 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle that traveling westbound on 3rd Street. The vehicle was possibly a red Honda Civic or Prelude. Gonzalez was subsequently struck by two additional unidentified vehicles, and suffered extensive blunt force trauma injuries. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
