Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect whose images were caught on surveillance video committing a burglary at a cash-for-gold business in the Wilshire area on Oct. 12.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., the African American male suspect entered a multi-office building located in the 3900 block of Wilshire Boulevard and made his way to the 4th floor. The suspect then forced the front door open of the cash-for-gold business and ransacked the office. He stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
Detectives believe he may be responsible for several other commercial burglaries on Wilshire Boulevard in the Koreatown and Rampart areas of Los Angeles. The suspect is approximately 35 to 45 years old, five-feet-ten-inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds. He was wearing a beige shirt and beige pants.
