New Fall Menu
Delphine’s is celebrating its French brasserie roots with Executive Chef Sascha Lyon’s new seasonal menu featuring regional inspired French dishes with influences from Spain, Italy and Africa. Try one of their new appetizers, entrees, daily specials and healthy dining options. It’s a great neighborhood dining destination for a casual weekend brunch, a reasonably priced dinner, or late-night cocktail and small bites at the bar. Some of the new items featured will be the classic French dish Lapin a la Moutarde in a white wine and mustard sauce over buttered fettuccini accompanied with root vegetables ($22) on Tuesdays and braised veal with lentils every Thursday ($23). Season’s Freshest Produce
Napa Valley Grille offers guests a Thanksgiving-themed community Supported Argriculture (CSA) basket for pick-up at the restaurant. It features a sampling of the season’s freshest produce and artisanal products created by local farms and Chef Gillard. Baskets are available from Monday, November 22 to Wednesday, November 24. Yummy Pumpkin Shakes
The Counter Custom Built Burger offers a blended pumpkin pie shake ($4.95) with vanilla ice cream, pumpkin pie filling, and pumpkin spices. Real whipped cream tops this sweet treat. Oliverio Celebrates One Year in BH
Dine alfresco at the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills for a special one-year anniversary menu. Start with a tuna tartare or truffle pizzetta, and then decide on a first course of pumpkin agnolotti with butter and sage or saffron risotto braised veal. The second course is your choice of Branzino acqua pazza or pollo diavola. Save room for the Budino di polenta. Far Niente Wine Dinner at Belvedere
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of Far Niente Winery, the Peninsula Hotel is hosting a wine dinner on November 18 and 19 from 6-10:30pm. Executive Chef James Overbaugh will prepare a 4-course menu to match selected wines from Far Niente and their partner vineyard, Nickel & Nickel Single Vineyard wines. Known as one of the top Napa Valley producers, the price for the dinner with wine pairings is $99 per person in the Belvedere restaurant. Kids Thanksgiving Cooking Class
Kids age 6-10 are invited to the Kidspace Kitchen in Pasadena to make stuffing, cranberries, roasted vegetables and dessert, all from scratch.
