Lobster Weekend
Redondo Beach is having their 15th Surf & Turf Lobster festival Friday, September 24 through Sunday, September 26. Surf and Turf steak and lobster dinners will be served oceanside at the Seaside Lagoon. Arts and craft booths will sell clothes, pet items, and sunglasses. Za-Zen Pop-Up at Breadbar
Chef David Schlosser will be at Breadbar on West Third now until September 28, offering guests tastes of “Kappo” cuisine. From 5 to 10 p.m., two prix fixe seven-course menus “Plant & Fungi” ($36) and “Set” ($46) explore the balance of traditional Japanese cuisine with seafood, land vegetables, and sea plants.

A Sweet New Orleans Favorite
Little Dom’s is offering a Sno Ball sweet treat at their deli. Finely shaved ice served in a white paper cone and doused with a house made syrup, such as coconut cream, nectar cream with fresh almond or chocolate.
