It’s time for the second annual Spring Wine Festival at Farmers Market Bars and you won’t want to miss the fun. One year ago Farmers Market Bars teamed up with French gourmet specialist Monsieur Marcel to host Farmers Market’s first annual Spring Wine Fest. The event was a resounding success, attracting wine and cheese lovers from near and far. This year’s festival will be on the first day of Spring, Saturday March 20, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, on the upper dinning deck. For a very reasonable $30 ($25 in advance) guests may sample over forty excellent wines, wine-based cocktails and craft saki, while pairing and tasting gourmet food selections from Ulysses Voyage and Marcel’s. Once again, many wine growers and vendors will be on hand to give tips on selecting and storing wine and also to answer your wine questions. Advance tickets for Farmers Market’s Wine Fest are available online at www.farmersmarketbars.com or in person at either EB’s or 326 Beer & Wine, The Original Farmers Market, 3rd & Fairfax. And while you have wine on your mind, why not also think about beer?
March marks the 25th anniversary of Samuel Adams Boston Beer Company and Farmers Market Bars is ready to celebrate, with Boston Beer specials on Friday, March 12. Going back to the beginning, select Samuel Adams beers will be reduced to 1984 prices, and ’80s music will fill the West Patio from 6:00pm on. Next up at the bars is a St. Patrick’s Day celebration to remember, starting at 6:00pm on March 17 at 6:00pm. How many more reasons do you need to visit the Farmers Market bars?
