A Los Angeles Police Department officer was killed in an early-evening traffic accident on February 25 while off duty in the Diamond Bar area.

Police Officer II Jacqueline Montalvo was a veteran officer with nearly 11 years of service.  Most of her time with the Department was spent on patrol serving the LAPD Hollywood Area community.  Montalvo was well liked by her peers and coworkers.  “Jacqueline was a hard worker and sought-after partner,” said LAPD Hollywood Area Commanding Officer Captain Beatrice Girmala.  “She will be greatly missed.”
